NHLN Opinion+: James Key-Wallace

Hugo Balta

Welcome to this week’s episode of NHLN Opinion+, our weekly program that is dedicated to discussing the concerns and opinions of New Hampshire’s Latino community!

We spoke with James Key-Wallace, executive director of NH Business Finance Authority (BFA), about the organization’s ongoing work, the pandemic’s impact on local businesses, the unique challenges POC-owned businesses endure, along with resources available to residents.

In this interview, Executive Director Key-Wallace discussed the BFA’s core mission, which is to aid all types of local businesses and address existing equity gaps. “It’s unfortunate that sometimes awareness of resources tends to kind of follow existing networks…” Key-Wallace explained. He strongly encouraged residents to contact the BFA’s office or visit its website for any assistance and to learn more about the organization’s variety of public services.
