Description of the video:
Welcome to this week’s episode of NHLN Opinion+, our weekly program that is dedicated to discussing the concerns and opinions of New Hampshire’s Latino community!
This week we spoke to Isadora Rodriguez-Legendre, executive director of the NH Council on Developmental Disabilities, about the council’s ongoing work, how its operations have been impacted by the pandemic, and common challenges NH residents with disabilities have faced this past year.
State law requires that at least 60 percent of the council must be individuals with developmental disabilities or family members impacted by developmental disabilities. Executive Director Rodriguez-Legendre said, “that really ensures that our work is led by people who are directly impacted.” Learn all about the council’s efforts in this week’s episode.
