Doctors with Lighthouse New Hampshire discuss barriers between the healthcare system and people of color

Welcome to this week’s episode of NHLN Opinion+, our weekly program that is dedicated to discussing the concerns and opinions of New Hampshire’s Latino community!

We spoke with Dr. Marie-Elizabeth Ramas and Dr. Trinidad Tellez of Lighthouse New Hampshire about barriers between the healthcare system and people of color, misinformation on the COVID-19 vaccine infiltrating communities of color, and different resources available to residents.

Dr. Ramas and Dr. Tellez strongly encourage all residents to contact their local health departments to learn when and where they can get vaccinated. The Lighthouse NH Facebook page is dedicated to providing verified information on the COVID-19 vaccine—if you have specific questions, stay tuned for its Facebook Live series Word on the Street!
